  We came in for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The waitress, Gabriele, was fabulous. She was a supported by a great staff also. The food was so good on the lunch menu! The Mac n cheese with honey pepper chicken is out of this world. Lunch starts at 6.99 and was quickly delivered even with kids meals attached.

  I went on a Friday evening at 5:45 p.m. Got seated right away (there was no wait for seating). Waiter came by and took the drink order and promptly served up our drinks and we ordered. Order was not complicated, yet one hour and twenty minutes after arriving at the restaurant, we still did not have our entrees. Flagged the waiter down and told him we would just pay for what we had eaten so far. The manager, Brian was walking around to customers apologizing for how slow things were. Brian was apologizing to us when our food showed up. He offered to buy us dessert (none of us eats dessert). Nice gesture though.
  
  Chances are pretty slim I'll be eating at Applebee's any time soon. I may try it again in a couple of years to see if the service has improved, if they are still open.
